I love to be busy. Whether it is doing my extra curricular activities, or just hanging out with friends.
One of my most favorite things to do is dance. I have been dancing for over 7 years, and I continue to dance now in a competitive dance group at Lifesong Studio. I have been dancing in a competitive group since 2007. I do all different kinds of dance, which includes ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. I spend about 9-12 hours a week dancing at my studio. I love to dance! I love being on stage and showing my talent, as well as being with all of my dance friends.
I am a piano player, and a voice student. I take both of these classes at Lifesong Studio. I have been a piano player for over 4 years and have been taking voice lessons for over 2.
I am also a basketball player. I play on an all girls team, and am a really good player too! I have practice once a week with my team, plus one practice each week with my dad. I also have games on Friday.
As you can see, my week is pretty busy. And when I'm not busy...I'm spending times with good friends!

Creative Writing
I am a student at Timberline Elementary and my favorite subject is creative writing. I enjoy making readers feel like they are living the moment of someone else, because I enjoy books that make me feel that way.
"So B. It", (the book I mentioned in my previous posting) really makes you feel in the shoes of Heidi, the main character. Sarah Weeks, the author of "So B. It" also wrote a book called "As Simple As Is Seems". I am currently reading this book and it is fantastic! When you read these books, you feel so many different things and you don't know what feeling is in store next. Sarah Weeks is my favorite author!
Creative writing is exciting because you have a motivating goal to make your reader live the moment is which you are writing about. You can share your passion, your feelings, your life, your problems, etc. This can also be your chance to share a message with the World. When you revise and edit your story, it is like seeing how you can make the reader feel even MORE in the moment of your story. After you finish, you will feel proud of your work which you believe will make a stupendous story to read and enjoy, and you will feel proud of yourself for completing a wonderful piece. You should try it!

Welcome to my Blog!
Welcome to my blog! I am going to be writing about different topics throughout the year. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
I have just finished reading a book called So B. It by Sarah Weeks. It is wonderful story about a young girl, Heidi, whose mother is mentally disabled. She is accompanied through life by her neighbor Bernadette. Bernadette said she had found a woman outside her door on holding a crying baby girl, Heidi. She had washed Heidi, and after they left she had heard the baby cry again, but she could not go out into the hall and knock on their door because of her A.P. or "angora phobia". Heidi does all the shopping, with the money she wins at the laundromat. Heidi wonders a lot about her family history, and when she finds an old camera in the back of a drawer with pictures, she knows what she has to do. She travels all the way to Liberty, New York by herself (because of Bernadette's "angora phobia") to find out about her family. She finds out extraordinary things, and sometimes its hard for Heidi to think straight in all the commotion. Why, with more things that had happened then she could have ever imagined, and with the loss of some of her closest family members-it is just unpredictable. In the end she learns about her family, but that doesn't really make a difference to who she is. This is a fantastic novel that I absolutely loved.
If you are interested in reading So B. It, you can check it out at the Timberline Elementary library or at the Grapevine public library. You can also purchase this book at www.amazon.com.
